Final Verdict
The Vector Optics Continental 2-12x44 quickly became one of our favorite optics for a general-purpose rifle.
It bridges the gap between a traditional LPVO and a precision optic better than almost anything we've tested in this price range.
The glass punches well above its price point, the turrets inspire confidence, and the overall build quality exceeded our expectations throughout testing.
Whether you're stretching a 16-inch rifle to distance or building an SPR-style setup, this optic delivers exceptional performance without entering premium optic pricing.
If we were building another rifle tomorrow, we'd have no hesitation putting the Continental back on top.

Why It Earned a 9.2
After months of real-world shooting, the Vector Optics Continental 2-12x44 MPVO consistently exceeded our expectations. The glass quality rivals optics costing significantly more, the turret system proved dependable throughout testing, and the forgiving eye box made it easy to shoot from a variety of positions.
While the illumination isn't as bright as some premium offerings and the optic carries a bit more weight than a traditional LPVO, those compromises are minor compared to the overall performance.
For shooters looking for an MPVO that bridges the gap between speed and precision without stepping into premium optic pricing, the Continental 2-12x44 delivers exceptional value.
